  hi, i'm Emmeline, the owner of Sorted, Brighton.

I'm a professional declutterer, a painter/decorator and co-parent to a small human - and I would love to help you reclaim your home from your possessions and feel the joy of a decluttered life. 

 

I understand that it can feel exposing or nervewracking to have a stranger come into your home.

I would like to reassure you that I come from a place of positivity, support, and absolutely zero judgement. 

 

My approach is as follows: I am not here to force you to throw away anything that you don’t want to. What I can do is help you to focus on what’s most important to you and your life.

I can help you to keep the things which you most cherish, to be able to really appreciate and enjoy what you have, and not feel overwhelmed and burdened by your possessions.

 

I take the time to understand each client’s needs and goals so we can approach decluttering in a way which works for you.

 

I’ve always seen the link between my own mental state and my environment - a tidy room where everything has a home and is in its place directly correlates to my mind being calmer and clearer. 

 

I am less stressed, I have less to clean, I know where everything is and I don’t buy things I already own, only to discover the ‘missing’ item in the back of a cupboard. 

 

I love to help other people to feel the freedom that comes with letting go and making space for what’s important.

I’m passionate about the power of decluttering to make my clients feel empowered and free.
